A collection full of warm, comforting tones, ready to welcome changes the season has to offer. A concept that encourages the art of slowing down, taking pleasure in solitude, daydreaming, contemplation, and learning to restore and repair. All in beautiful preparation for the mind and body to embrace the energetic months to come.

We wanted these designs to be a celebration of reserving energy, materials to be worn and looked upon with confirmation that it’s ok to rest. A gentle reminder that we can learn to acknowledge the changes around us and realign our activities to flow with the seasons rather than pushing against them.

One of the most wonderful things about nature is the lack of judgement. All creatures are free to be present in each moment. Free to grow, thrive, rest and stop. There is a reason why many plants slow down and stop growing during colder times of the year. Rest is essential for their future survival. Buds and shoots do not sprout all year round, so why do we so often expect ourselves to live at full capacity 365 days, on repeat? We too are apart of nature and deserve to rest!

Just as the sleepy bear prepares and acknowledges a time to recharge, we too can enjoy golden months of slowing down, nurturing our minds and bodies, embracing the smells, colours, experiences and just be.

And so, this collection is a little reminder it’s ok to rest, surround ourselves with healing properties like the Echinacea blooming throughout this collection and remember, your future self will thank you for this precious time you set aside for yourself, especially when the time comes to grow those shoots again!
